Drop-in Violin Lessons
Learn to play the violin in a welcoming, drop-in environment! Open to ages 8 and up, this program lets you explore the instrument with guidance from a dedicated instructor. Lessons are first-come, first-served, every 20 minutes. Sign up outside Room 1J or drop in if a slot is open.
Comics Character Design with Breena Bard
Comics come to life through the characters on the page. Join Wildfire cartoonist Breena Bard for this workshop demonstrating the basics of designing characters for comics. Then put your skills to work to create characters for your own comic!

Dorothy's Dictionary with BareBones Theatre
Join us for a Barebones Theatre production of the play Dorothy's Dictionary by local playwright E.M. Lewis. Sparks fly when Zan, an angry high school student, is forced to work off his community service assignment helping Dorothy, an ailing librarian. Teens are invited to chill out and come work on crafts! Materials provided!
Work on the DIY craft of the week, or do your own thing with our location's craft materials! Sew, paint, glue, make, design; the sky's your limit! Learn alongside others, share your knowledge and explore new ways of making things!
A Good Yarn Knitting & Crochet Group
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, come join the fun as we learn together. All experience levels and ages welcome. Please bring your own supplies.
Teen Anime and Manga Club
View, review, snack and yak about all things anime and manga. We meet the fourth Tuesday of the month to discuss our favorite series, watch anime, read manga, and eat snacks!
K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual
Virtual Tutoring is for students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies.
We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.
The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Hey Teens! Need a study space? Need a snack? Need a craft break? Come on over to the Hillsdale Library where Teens can study together or individually.
Hillsdale Library is providing a Teen specific space for Teens to work on their projects, homework, or work on a library provided craft for a much needed break. The library will also provide snacks for our hardworking Teens.
