  3. In Her I Am by Chrystos, explores the geography of sexual desire through poems. 
  4. Making Love With the Land Essays by Joshua Whitehead boldly shares his story of an Indigenous body in pain and coping with trauma while still nourishing a lust for life in this world.
  5. A Two-Spirit Journey: The Autobiography of A Lesbian Ojibwa-Cree Elder by Ma-Nee Chacaby. In this autobiography, Chacaby recounts early memories in a remote Ojibwa community. Through her life, Chacaby overcomes social, economic, and health legacies of colonialism, abuse and assault. She raises a family, achieves sobriety, and comes out as lesbian. Her memoir is full of insights into the challenges faced by many Indigenous people.
  6. Spaces Between Us: Queer Settler Colonialism and Indigenous Decolonization by Scott Lauria Morgensen examines the connections of non-Native and Native sexual politics in the United States.
  7. Love Beyond Body, Space, and Time: An Indigenous LGBT Sci-fi Anthology edited by Hope Nicholson is a collection of indigenous sci-fi and urban fantasy featuring LGBT2SQ characters stories of magical futurism, love and self-love with plots ranging from time travel romances to experimental transformational medicines.
