Farewell message from School Corps

Dear educators,

As School Corps services come to a close in June 2025, we’re so grateful to have served you and your students.

Thank you for sending us your assignment alert requests and for inviting us to visit your classrooms. We loved researching the best books and resources for your students. It was so fun introducing high quality new books to your students and creating professional development opportunities for you. And we’ll never forget the special connections we’ve made along the way.

After the program ends, School Corps staff will serve patrons at other Multnomah County library locations.

Multnomah County Library remains committed to serving you and your students. Starting July 2025, you can call, email, chat or visit a library near your school to request support.

Youth and teen librarians at branches will work with the school age and educator services librarian and library outreach staff to respond to your curriculum support and outreach requests.

Educators can access grade specific booklists and Buckets of Books that cover a variety of curriculum topics. The library’s Students page connects you with library databases and other electronic resources. You can also look for future updates on the Educators page. Subscribe to the library’s general newsletter to stay up to date on library happenings.

The ways educators access services will look different, but Multnomah County Library will continue helping you and your students connect with library resources.

Thank you educators for all that you do!
