Decorate and engrave a custom wooden phone stand using a laser cutter. All materials will be provided.

To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Space is limited and registration is required. Registration opens on October 31.

Sewing a Zipper Pouch for Teens

In this three hour course, participants will learn how to sew a zipper pouch from a professional fashion instructor. Skills covered: how to thread a sewing machine, perform a basic straight stitch, and sew a zipper into a pouch. Participants can select from a variety of sizes and shapes. All materials will be provided. Grades 6-12.

STEAM Themed Teen Dream Drop-In

The Rockwood makerspace will be bringing a small collection of creative tools — make a vinyl sticker, sew a pillow, play with electronics. It’s your choice! What is STEAM? It stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
