Meet local author, Jelani Memory, a TED X Portland alum, and entrepreneur who created a "A Kids Co," the series of kids books exploring big topics. Jelani will read, "A Kids Book About Racism" and share about creating literature for children on challenging, empowering, and important subjects. Paper Circuits: Stories that Spark for Kids with Tinker Camp
We all have a story to tell. Construct a one-of-a-kind interactive storyboard or card that tells your story. Learn simple electronic circuitry by using assorted papers, card stock, art-supplies, copper tape, LED lights and batteries. Let your imagination spark with Tinker Camp, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting STEAM education in your community! Recommended for kids 8 years and older.
